Living somewhere on the border of lands Jazz, hiphop and art-pop, Swiss fusion act Rusconi are nothing if not a unique beast. Unique though isn’t really the right word, new would be a better way of terming it since it’s not just that it’s dissimilar from everything else you might have heard, its also that its comprises of so many things that you have heard, but all rolled into one cohesive yet angular movement. Hence the title of their new album our just this month, Revolution, it’s a revisitation of a great many previously coinstructed sounds and a bringing together of all of them into a new sound.
It’s prog-pop in the truest sense. Definitely worth checking out.
